Accountancy firm Whinfrey Briggs have highlighted their investment in the cycling scene yet again by returning as a headline sponsor for Doncaster Cycle Festival in 2017.
After building on the success of three huge events in 2014 through 2016, where crowds of thousands turned out to see riders from all over the country and all ages compete, the festival returns this summer on Sunday, 11th June.
The racing action again takes place around a 1km closed-road circuit in the town centre, with the festival area open to the public for free all day in Sir Nigel Gresley Square, in front of the Cast performance venue.
This year Whinfrey Briggs have again committed to sponsor and support the event and hope to see it build on the success of the first three years.
Sam Briggs, founding partner at Whinfrey Briggs, commented, “We are excited to be a headline sponsor of Doncaster Cycle Festival once again. After the success of the previous years we are looking forward to another great event promoting cycling and fitness in our local community.”
Doncaster Cycle Festival will feature an 8 race programme, from Under 8 junior stars in the making, all the way to the hotly contested Elite Men’s Grand Prix race to close the day.
